Is it ok to take '#selfies' for social media?

It's been a while since my last blog post (well kinda years) and my my how much has happened and changed. I intend to tell all and what i encountered over the last few years! I also intend to express all my HONEST and Personal opinions on many issues, topics and trends! Social Media changed my life... Since losing over 3 stone in weight my life changed dramatically. Everyone saw me different it was surreal and a tad bit scary. I was always the funny 'stocky' one, or the 'Big Boned' guy...hmmmm yes they might aswel have called me the fat F*CK! Anyways besides the point. Friends, Family everyone I saw looked at me different I mean like actually the look in their eyes I could see a difference? Is this a subconscious confidence boost or has this happened to others? People on my Instagram started commenting and following and liking more of my pics. I felt a new man! Losing the weight over a year whilst gardening ( I was a landscape gardener) definately helped define and shape my body more. So I didn't end up a saggy bitch (fat bastard out of Austin powers) THANKGOD! As I mentioned earlier, peoples eyes changed the way they looked at me. Well my eyes also changed :/ strange but true! They where light/dark brown and now are hazel/green it's like they changed colour/color! I mean wtf? I started to question why? Was it normal or natural? Even my partner of 9 years noticed the significant change in my appearance as a whole along with my family and anyone who knew me. What happened ? Could losing weight really changed this much? I believe not. I believe highly in the human subconscious and it's underestimated power. After research and statistics and my own personal views and conclusion I decided my frame of mind and views on life changed me and my appearance well Most definitely helped anyway. I was in a very bad place. Depressed, moody, jealous and aggressive. I was not me. I never slept for days, I sat or lay just thinking. I think that's what opened doors in my subconscious by cheating my body and brain through depriving it of sleep my subconscious mind was brought forward more. Like a day dream but your awake and aware. You see things differently for the first time ever it seems. I felt like I could read people instantly and know their deepest darkest secrets and desires. It was so simple to see for me. I saw how people around me dragged me down and really didn't have a care in the world for me let alone respect. My close longest and dearest friends 3 of them. My partner and my family is all I count on and listen to anymore. no one else NO ONE! It made me feel amazing. Fulfilled and focused in a entirely new way for me. I felt unstoppable. But like any human being...doubt, fear and suspicion crept back in (to be continued) Connect with me on LinkedIn Olly UK And/Or Follow me on instagram/ IG: olly_uk Which Way is the Right Way? The Honest Truth: No Way! We all rush round daily in our jobs, careers, schools, homes etc. trying to do stuff the 'right' way. For example. The office 'Know it all' is talking about some BBC3 TV Show they watched: 'OMG I saw this documentary and it says if you do this in work that way it doubles you chances at succeeding...' No it doesn't. That person is most likely filling your head with this crap because they see you as a threat in the work place, and/or are trying to et you to test the method first. What really enhances your chances at success is having the balls to stand for what you believe in and which way you honestly and truthfully have faith in. Go with your instinct. Trust in your own ability to make choices and succeed in them. I took a break to 'find myself' and now I'm back to share the secrets of the mind, soul and heart of PR! The things I've seen....the stuff I've learnt...the things I know...will be exciting too see how this turns out. Will keep you posted ;) As we speak I have began my social media mix up by using my personal Facebook account 'Oliver J Williams' as part of my @olly_uk name. Adding people from instagram and twitter. It's a fairly new trend and many are skeptical as Facebook offers a certain kind of security u feel comfortable only your friends seeing. However times are changing and so is social media. It's all about likes, friends, comments, follows and adds. Don't get left behind!
Will keep you posted Over the past year I have manage to accumulate 30,000+ followers on Instagram over 7 profiles all different sets of followers and interests from dogs and nature to fashion, girls/boys and general daily life.
